Spicy Kale Snack

Ingredients

  • 2 large bunches of curly kale center stems removed
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/3 cup hemp seeds
  • 1/8 tsp hot chipotle powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Rip leaves into 2-3 large pieces and place into bowl. Combine all remaining ingredients in a food processor, pouring half onto the kale leaves. Toss and then add the remaining mixture.
  2. Preheat oven to lowest setting (and keep the door open a crack) — cooking for 2.5 to 3 hours. Store in an airtight bag.
